I’m beyond thrilled to share some exciting news with all of you—Pottery by Eleni was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal! When I first received the call, I could hardly believe it. Seeing my work and my journey highlighted in such an iconic publication is a milestone I never imagined when I started crafting pottery in my garage.
For those of you who’ve been following along, you know my story has been full of twists, from my career in costume design to finding my creative path in pottery. Like many, my journey shifted drastically during the pandemic, and turning to clay became more than a pastime—it became my business, my community, and my passion. To see this recognized in a publication like the Wall Street Journal feels like a true celebration of that journey.
In the feature, Pottery by Eleni was highlighted as a 'pint-sized' business that found a unique way to thrive even in unconventional spaces. Reflecting on this really brought home how much can grow from a small beginning. Working out of my garage studio in Lynnwood has taught me that the heart of any creative business is community. The support I’ve received from all of you—whether at a pottery class, in a wholesale partnership, or at local markets—has helped me grow Pottery by Eleni into what it is today.
Being part of this incredible article has reminded me of the value of dreams, even when they start as small sparks. It’s been a journey filled with creative discoveries, hard work, and, most importantly, the joy of connecting with people like you who share in the love for handmade, meaningful pieces.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Here’s to even more creativity, community, and moments that inspire. And, of course, a special thank you to The Wall Street Journal for shining a light on our story! Read the whole article here!
With gratitude,
Eleni
