What is a Pottery Second?
A pottery second is a fully functional, structurally sound piece that didn’t quite meet our quality standards. These pieces may have small quirks such as a slight wobble, minor size variations, superficial surface cracks, or glazes that turned out differently from their like items. Each one is perfectly usable—just a little too unique to join the main collection.
The Peggy Serving Bowl features an oblong shape and is the perfect piece to serve your favorite side dish or a simple salad.
This piece has been carefully slab constructed with a sloping rim celebrating the handmade process. The Peggy Serving Bowl is made out of white Seattle porcelain, dipped in food-safe glaze and hand painted with 22k gold accents.
With the handcrafted nature of this item, please expect slight variation in the appearance of each unique and special piece.
