How It Was Made

Each piece is built using coil construction—formed slowly, layer by layer, from the ground up. It mirrors the way I have experienced motherhood and identity: gradual, deliberate, and ever-evolving. The form cannot be rushed. It is a practice in patience and nurture.

Every place two coils meet creates a point of vulnerability—a place where the piece could separate, crack, or fail. In my previous work, I worked to prevent these moments. In this collection, I chose to invite them. The cracks and breaks are not accidents to be discarded, but moments to be held.

The 22-karat gold gently draws attention to the beauty already present. It serves as a quiet reminder that worth does not begin after we are broken or transformed. We are deserving of wonder long before life asks us to prove our strength.

About Eleni

I spent fourteen years as a costume designer in Hollywood before building a quieter life as a ceramicist in the Pacific Northwest. After becoming a mother, I began sculpting the female form, honoring its flaws and the places that have held pain. Now I create commissioned pieces to honor a woman’s season of becoming.
