She Who Feels reflects the emotional weight and quiet resilience carried by a woman who has lived deeply and fully. The sculpture explores the gradual accumulation of love, grief, tenderness, endurance, and pain over the course of a lifetime, and the way those experiences both fracture and shape us.
Built slowly through coil construction, the piece mirrors the patient becoming of a woman through time and lived experience. Created from locally mixed black mid-range clay, the sculpture is adorned with hand-sculpted white flowers that emerge from the dark surface like moments of growth born from hardship. Delicate accents of 22k gold trace cracks and imperfections, honoring them rather than concealing them.
She Who Feels celebrates emotional vulnerability as a form of strength and suggests that the wounds we carry need not diminish our beauty. Instead, they become part of the story that deepens it.
